Clifford "Cliff" Evans was a Welsh professional rugby league footballer of the 1930s and '40s, and coach of the 1960s and '70s, playing at representative level for Wales, and at club level for Salford, and Leeds, as a Centre, Stand-off/Five-eighth, or Scrum-half/Halfback, i.e. number 3 or 4, 6, or 7, and coaching at club level for Swinton, St. Helens, and Salford.
