Who is Marie-Louise O'Donnell?

Marie-Louise O'Donnell is an Irish broadcaster and politician.

From Foxford, County Mayo, she is a lecturer in communications at Dublin City University. A former actor and theatre administrator she was involved in the setting up of the The Helix theatre on the DCU campus.

In May 2011, she was nominated by the Taoiseach Enda Kenny to the 24th Seanad.
