Who is Pete Tancred?
Peter Arthur "Pete" Tancred is a former athlete, and professional strongman from England. He competed at the 1976 Montreal Olympics in the discus and came sixth at the 1978 Commonwealth Games. In 1984 he competed in Britain's Strongest Man coming second behind Alan Crossley and two years later won Britain's Most Powerful Man, the replacement for the absent Britain's Strongest Man competition that year.
