Who is Tauna Vandeweghe?
Tauna Kay Vandeweghe is an American former competition swimmer who participated in the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Quebec. She competed in the 100-meter backstroke and advanced to the semifinals of the event, recording a best time of 1:05.0 in the preliminary heats.
Vandewghe is the sister of professional basketball player Kiki Vandeweghe, and the daughter of professional basketball player Ernie Vandeweghe and Colleen Kay Hutchins, the 1952 Miss America. Her uncle Mel Hutchins was also a professional basketball player and NBA All-Star. Her daughter Coco Vandeweghe is a professional tennis player.
