Who is Bob Williams?
Bob Williams is a General Partner with Bay Partners, an early stage
Venture Capital firm located in Silicon Valley managing $1B in funds
being invested across a portfolio of high technology companies. Bob
joined Bay in 1997. His primary area of investment interest is
enterprise infrastructure hardware and software. He has also made
investments in electronic design automation, carrier networking, and
wireless. His past deals include WebLogic (NASDAQ:BEAS) and SonicWall
(NASDAQ:SNWL). Prior to joining Bay, Bob was an entrepreneur for over
20 years. He helped to found and grow four successful startup companies
in enterprise software and networking. Bob held senior executive
positions in Marketing and Business Development at Ingres, Verity, and
NetManage -- all of which became publicly traded companies. Bob holds
an undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the
Stanford Graduate School of Business.
