Who is Constantin Gurdgiev?

Constantin Gurdgiev is a Russian economist based in Dublin, Ireland. He is a former editor of Business & Finance Magazine and a regular panelist on Tonight with Vincent Browne on TV3.

In resigning from Newstalk, broadcaster Eamon Dunphy described Gurdgiev as one of the "dissenting voices" that management at the radio station wanted off the airwaves. Cork Fine Gael TD Áine Collins notoriously said that Gurdgiev should "get on a plane back to Moscow", such was the level of his criticism of the party's policies when in government.
