George Herbert Marsden born in Morley, was an English dual-code international rugby union and professional rugby league footballer of the 1890s and 1900s, playing representative rugby union for England, and Yorkshire, and at club level for Morley R.F.C., as a Fly-half, i.e. number 10, and playing representative level rugby league for England, and Yorkshire, and at club level for Bradford F.C., as a Stand-off/Five-eighth, i.e. number 6, he died in Lytham St Annes.
