Who is George Zabriskie Gray?

George Zabriskie Gray was a notable clergyman, educator and theologian of the Episcopal Church in the United States. He was born in New York City, and served as rector of St. Paul's Church, Kinderhook, New York and Trinity Church, Bergen Point, New Jersey before his tenure as dean of Episcopal Theological School in Cambridge, Massachusetts from 1876-1889.

He married Kate Forrest on June 19, 1862. His brother was jurist John Clinton Gray. He was of French-Huguenot and Polish descent.
