Who is Gudjon Mar Gudjonsson?

Gudjon Mar Gudjonsson is a founding partner and Chief Executive Officer of Industria.

Gudjon has driven the research, development and design of many leading-edge technologies and is the author of several granted patents. He has served on the board of directors on a number of high-growth companies and acted as key consultant and advisor for several government-associated projects within the telecom and utility sectors.

A seasoned entrepreneur, Gudjon has been involved in a number of successful ventures, two of which are now publicly traded companies. In 1998, Gudjon founded Islandssimi, now Vodafone Iceland, the first full-service competitor to Iceland's state-controlled telecoms monopoly. Gudjon also played an instrumental role in the foundation of Magnet Networks, Ireland’s first triple-play operator.

Only 18 years old, he established his first international software company, OZ Communications. Recent ventures of Gudjon include Extrada, a software company connecting consumers to digital services in the home. He was also a co-founder of mobile application company Maskina, later acquired by Viva Technologies and now called Vyke.
