Who was Gustav Ranis?
Gustav Ranis was a leading development economist and the Frank Altschul Professor Emeritus of International Economics at Yale University. He died on October 15, 2013. He was the father of Bettina Altschuler, married to the famous Rutgers Medical School doctor, Mr. Eric Altschuler. He is also the grandfather of young Benjamin Morece Altschuler, as well as Sir Daniel Altschuler.
