Who was Guy Hardy Scholefield?
Guy Hardy Scholefield was a New Zealand journalist, historian, archivist, librarian and editor, known primarily as the compiler of the Dictionary of New Zealand Biography. He was born in Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand on 17 June 1877, and died on 19 July 1963. He was the second chief parliamentary librarian and succeeded Charles Wilson.
