Who is Henry May?
Henry Leonard James May was a New Zealand politician of the Labour Party. He was a cabinet minister from 1972 to 1975.
He represented the Wellington area electorates of Onslow from a 1954 by-election to 1963, then Porirua from 1963 to 1969, then Western Hutt from 1969 to 1975, when he was defeated by Brian Lambert.
He was Minister of Local Government, and Minister of Internal Affairs.
He was awarded a Q.S.O. in 1976.
