Who was Herbert Corthell?
Herbert Corthell was a film actor and a veteran of fifty years on stage and screen. He had appeared in numerous Broadway musical comedies. In his last stage appearance he played Teddy Brewster (Chaaaaarrrge!) in "Arsenic and Old Lace". Primarily a musical comedy performer on Broadway, he later played Irish cops on film.
