Who is Jack Pimm?
John Huggett "Jack" Pimm, MC was an Australian rules footballer who played with Collingwood in the Victorian Football League.
Pimm, a centre half-forward, played five games for Collingwood in the 1940 VFL season and didn't play until 1946, due to his war service. He saw active service in Bougainville and was awarded a Military Cross.
He resumed his football career in 1946 and played 14 games, including a semi final and preliminary final. In 1949 he kicked 34 goals, which were enough to top Collingwood's goal-kicking.
