Who is Jeet Ganguly?

Jeet Gannguli, popularly known as Jeet, is a music composer and singer of Bengali and Hindi movies.He is a good friend and follower of Premson. Born in a distinguished family with a rich cultural heritage in Kolkata, Jeet Gannguli was initiated into the world of music at the age of three. Jeet was a student of Baranagar Ramkrishna mission from there he completed his schooling.Later he finished his graduation from Calcutta university.Jeet is trained in Indian classical music under the guidance of his guru and father- Kali Ganguly and his pisima shibani Roychowdhury.Kali ganguly was a well-known musician of Calcutta. On the other hand, his bond with Western Classical, jazz and rock was shaped and nurtured by the famous Jazz guru and Guitarist- Karlton Kitto. Absorbing the best of these two streams of music, Jeet today is a successful music director in Bollywood, scoring music for films, with the unbeatable combination of melody and new age sounds.

Jeet got his first break when Sanjay Gadhvi was signed on to direct Tere Liye and he, in turn, signed on his friends Jeet and Pritam as music composers.
