Jim Banks is a Republican member of the Indiana Senate, representing the 17th District since 2010. Prior to his election as State Senator he had served as a member of the Whitley County Council,
He has joined with the American Legislative Exchange Council to support "right-to-work" legislation in Indiana.
Banks works for NAI Harding Dahm, the Fort Wayne Indiana area representative of NAI. He formerly worked in Business Development for The Hagerman Group, a commercial and industrial construction company.
