Who was Joe Francis?
Joseph Charles Naekauna "Joe" Francis, Jr. was a gridiron football half back and quarterback who played professionally in the National Football League and the Canadian Football League. Following his retirement from professional football, Francis became a head football coach at the high school level in the state of Hawaii. Two of Francis's sons have themselves played professional football in the NFL.
