John A. Bryant was a co-founder of the Detroit-based construction firm Bryant & Detwiler which erected many of southeastern Michigan's prominent buildings including the General Motors Technical Center, Warren, Mich.; Northland Mall, Southfield, Mich.; and the Coleman A. Young Municipal Center.
