Who is John Berthier?
John Berthier founded a Roman Catholic religious institute, the Missionaries of the Holy Family, in Grave, the Netherlands, on 28 September 1895 under the direction of Pope Leo XIII. The Missionaries of the Holy Family provide pastoral care for families. As of 2014 there were over 900 Holy Family priests and brothers in 15 different Provinces serving in 22 countries around the world. The cause for sainthood for John Berthier was opened.
