Who is John Brooks?
John Brooks is an English association football referee and assistant referee in the Premier League. He is affiliated to the Leicestershire and Rutland County Football Association.
In January 2013, he made national headlands in the UK after being dropped from refereeing a game for comments made to Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott that he should thank for the fans following the game having paid £62 for a ticket.
He is usually associated with matchday official Mike Dean.
In May 2014 he officiated at Wembley Stadium in the Championship play-off final with Lee Mason as the referee.
