Who is John Ferguson?
John Ferguson was an eminent Anglican priest in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
He was educated at Aberdeen University and ordained in 1853. He was Curate of St Mary, Montrose then the ector of Holy Trinity, Elgin. In 1886 he became Dean of the United Diocese of Moray, Ross, and Caithness, a post he held until his death on 22 April 1902.
