Who is John West?

John M. West is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist.

He was born in Syracuse, New York on October 29 and has sung for such bands as Artension, Royal Hunt, Badlands, Lynch Mob, Cozy Powell, Michael Lee Firkins, Yngwie Malmsteen, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, James Murphy, Marc Ferrari, Many Moons, Rider and Feinstein. He has also released four solo albums of his own original material- namely John West's Mind Journey, John West Permanent Mark, John West Earth Maker, and John West Long Time No Sing.

John West parted ways with Royal Hunt in 2007. Since then West has appeared as the lead singer for Emir Hot on his debut album Sevdah Metal, Roger Staffelbach's Angel Of Eden, Mistheria's solo effort "Dragon Fire", a project entitled Mythodea, and most recently in 2013 the super group named Artlantica "Across The Seven Seas" on SPV records featuring John Macaluso on drums, among others. He also plays guitar and is currently the lead guitarist for the American band Ten Man Push, "The Official Band Of American Motocross". John West plays live with musician Lonnie Park over 200 shows a year as "Johnny and Lonnie" in the USA.
