Who is Julian King?

Sir Julian Beresford King, KCVO, CMG, was the Director General of the Northern Ireland Office 2011-2014, having previously been British Ambassador to Ireland.

Before his appointment to Ireland in 2009 he headed the office of two British Commissioner in Brussels: first Peter Mandelson, then Baroness Ashton.
