Who is Mark Dobson?
Mark Christopher Dobson is a former English cricketer. Dobson was a right-handed batsman who bowled slow left-arm orthodox. He was born at Canterbury, Kent.
Dobson made his first-class debut for Kent against Essex. From 1989 to 1991, he represented the county in 9 first-class matches, with his final first-class match for the county coming against Oxford University. Dobson also played a single List-A match for Kent in 1989 against Gloucestershire.
After leaving Kent, he played one further first-class match in 1993 for Glamorgan against Oxford University. In his 10 first-class matches he scored 211 runs at a batting average of 17.58, with two half centuries and a high score of 52. With the ball, he took 9 wickets at a bowling average of 54.00, with best figures of 2/20.
