Who was Milan Gorkić?
Milan Gorkić or Josip Čižinsky was a high-ranking Yugoslav communist of Czech ethnicity. He was a leader of the Communist Party of Yugoslavia in exile from 1932 until 1937 and prominent member of the Comintern.
Gorkić was executed by the NKVD on 1 November 1937 during the Great Purge.
