Who was Nathan Barnert?
Nathan Barnert was an American businessman and politician. He was elected the Mayor of Paterson, New Jersey on April 9, 1883. He was one of the original founders of the Miriam Barnert Hebrew Free School and the Barnert Memorial Hospital and the Barnert Memorial Temple.
