General Richard FitzPatrick, styled The Honourable from birth, was an Anglo-Irish soldier, wit, poet, Whig politician and ‘sworn brother’ of the illustrious statesman of Charles James Fox. He served in the Philadelphia Campaign during the American War of Independence.
