Who is Tony Collins?
Tony Collins was the first black manager in the English Football League, taking charge at Rochdale A.F.C. from June 1960 until September 1967. He led Rochdale to their only League Cup final in 1962. He was also Crystal Palace's first black player. He then became assistant manager to Alan Dicks at Bristol City from 1967-1980. He was briefly Bristol City manager in 1980.
