Vikki Stone

Who is Vikki Stone?

Vikki Stone is an English stand-up comedian, actress and musician. She has been listed by The Observer as one of the Top 5 Comedians to see at the Edinburgh Festival.

As a child Vikki trained as a classical musician at Wells Cathedral School which exists as a specialist music school and in 1997 became Flautist for the National Children's Orchestra. Between 1999-2001 she was a member of the National Youth Music Theatre, performing in various productions.

Later training was as an Actor/Musician at Rose Bruford College and then a post-graduate at The Royal Academy of Music.

After graduating Vikki toured with Elton John as backing vocalist at venues including The Royal Albert Hall, National Exhibition Centre, and Wembley Arena.

As well as acting in theatre productions, it was during this time that she decided to give comedy a go at some open mic nights. After nine such gigs she had been spotted by NBC's Last Comic Standing and made it to the last 20 comics selected in Britain, and was filmed by NBC at The Comedy Store, in London.

A year later in 2008 Vikki made it to the final of The Hackney Empire New Act of the Year.
