Who is Vincent Fovargue?
Vincent Patrick Fovargue was a company officer in the Dublin Brigade of the IRA during the Irish War of Independence. After his capture, Fovargue was recruited as an informant by the British Army Intelligence Corps. Soon after, Forvargue was freed in a staged escape. After his identity was leaked to Michael Collins, Fovargue was assassinated by the IRA in England.
