Who is Vinnin?

Vinuson Ryan Suntharesan (born June 4, 2004), popularly known as Vinnin, is a Malayali/Tamil-Canadian recording artist from Scarborough, Ontario, Canada, a district of Toronto. His mom is from the state of Kerala in India, his father is from Tamil Eelam and both are fluent in the Tamil and Malayalam language; Vinnin himself is fluent in both English and Tamil and practices the religion of Hinduism, the religion of the majority of Tamils practice.

After finding success playing basketball competitively in high school, Canadian rapper Vinnin switched his focus to making music and quickly accelerated in his new lane. He closed out 2020 with a song that would earn him early looks from hip-hop/rap lovers. “Losing My Mind”— his studio single with a music video with Lil Grayski featured on World Star Canada.

Vinnin carried his momentum into 2021, starting off the year strong with the release of his popular motivating single and video, “Top Of The Game.” The song, which was inspired by his love of the game basketball and hip-hop music, caught the attention of NBA 2K and featured it on the NBA 2K21 Next-Gen Soundtrack and included his single in the videogame, NBA2K21. under the “My City” section on all platforms, and saw Vinnin’s buzz reach new heights which it continues to grow from.

Since then, the young phenom has released his brand new single, “Way Back,” which was showcased by The Toronto Star and various other outlets including local mainstream media, The Scarborough Mirror. With over 100 thousand collective streams across digital streaming platforms in 2020, Vinnin enters the New Year looking to make a name for himself and become a mainstream hip-hop artist and collaborate with the icons of the rap industry.
