Who was Carroll Widdoes?
Carroll C. Widdoes was an American football coach and college athletics administrator. He served as the head coach at Ohio State University and Ohio University, compiling a career record of 58–38–5. Widdoes's 1944 Ohio State team went undefeated and was named a national champion by the National Championship Foundation and the Sagarin Ratings.
