Who was Charles MacMillan?
Charles Edward de la Barca MacMillan was a Reform Party Member of Parliament in New Zealand.
He won the Tauranga electorate in the 1923 by-election after the death of William Herries, and held it to 1935 when he was defeated by the Labour candidate, Charles Harris Burnett. He was a cabinet minister in the United-Reform coalition government.
