Christoph Bauer

Who is Christoph Bauer?

After his studies in business administration and time spent as an

assistant at the University in Münster, Christoph Bauer worked at

Bertelsmann in the Corporate Controlling area. In several functions he

further developed various corporate controlling and corporate reporting

methods and systems. In 1998 Christoph Bauer arrived at AOL, first as

commercial head of the area Customer Care AOL Europe. Later he became

CFO of AOL Germany with responsibility for the commercial areas

Accounting, Financials, Controlling, Legal and HR. At AOL Germany he

built up structures, processes and systems in the entire commercial

area and managed these successfully over the course of 8 years. During

his tenure, AOL Germany became a profitable company in 2003, and up

until the sale of its access business in 2006 had improved year on

year. As of January 2007, Christoph Bauer will structure and manage the

commercial area at wunderloop, including Accounting, Financials,

Controlling, Legal and HR.
