Who was John Anstruther?
Colonel John Anstruther was a Scottish nobleman.
The son of Sir Philip Anstruther of Balcaskie, 2nd Bt. and Catherine Hay.
He married Grizel Maria Thomson of Charleton, Fife, daughter of John Thomson of Charleton and Margaret Paterson, in December 1774.
