Who was Edgar Munzel?

Edgar Herman Munzel, nicknamed "The Mouse," was an American sportswriter who wrote for the Chicago Herald-Examiner and Chicago Sun-Times from 1929 to 1973. In 1978 he was awarded the J. G. Taylor Spink Award by the Baseball Writers Association of America for outstanding contributions to baseball writing. He retired to Williamsburg, Virginia.
