Who is Edward R. McCracken?
Edward R. McCracken
retired as Chairman of Silicon Graphics Inc., Mountain View,
California, in 1998. SGI designs, manufactures and markets visual
computer systems used for conceptual design, analysis and simulation.
He previously was associated with Hewlett-Packard for 16 years. He is
the former co-chairman of The United States Advisory Council on the
Information Infrastructure and also the former co-chairman of Joint
Venture: Silicon Valley Network. He is chairman of The PRASAD Project,
a charitable foundation.
