Who is Gennady Bukharin?

Gennady Bukharin is a Soviet sprint canoer who competed in the late 1950s. At the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne, he won bronze medals in the C-1 1000 m and C-1 10000 m events.

Bukharin also won two gold medals at the 1958 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships in Prague, Czechoslovakia, earning them in the C-1 1000 m and C-1 10000 m events.
