Who was Gennadi Strekalov?
Gennadi Mikhailovich Strekalov was an Instructor-Test-Cosmonaut and Department Head at Russian aerospace firm RSC Energia. He has been decorated twice as Hero of the Soviet Union. He also received the Ashoka Chakra Award from India in 1984.
