Who was Georg Engelhard Schröder?
Georg Engelhard Schröder, also George Engelhardt Schroeder, was a Swedish painter. He was famous for his paintings of ambassadors of the Ottoman Empire to the Swedish court: Mustapha Aga in 1727, and Sahid Mehemet Effendi in 1733. He also did a portrait of Ulrica Eleanor of Sweden
He was born May 31, 1684 in Stockholm and died May 17, 1750. He married Anna Brigitta Sporing in 1727.
