Who is George Brandis?
George Brandis QC is the 36th Attorney-General for Australia and has been a Liberal member of the Australian Senate representing Queensland since May 2000. Brandis has served as Attorney-General in the Abbott Government since 18 September 2013. He also held the post of Minister for the Arts and Sport from 23 January 2007 until the Howard Government lost the 2007 election.
