Gerard Thomas O'Connor is a former professional footballer and current Blackburn Rovers FC scout.
O'Connor started his career with Irish youth football club Cherry Orchard FC before signing for Championship side Ipswich Town FC.He played under Bryan Klug and George Burley. He spent 3 seasons there before choosing to attend Liverpool John Moores University where he studied a degree in Forensic Science.
