Who was Gerry Crutchley?
Gerald Edward Victor Crutchley was an English cricketer.
Gerry Crutchley was born in Chelsea, London and was educated at Oxford University. He played in first-class matches as a right-handed batsman for Oxford University, Middlesex and MCC. He also bowled leg-breaks and right-arm medium pace.
He served as President of Middlesex CCC and he died in St John's Wood in 1969, aged 78.
He was the father of the actor Rosalie Crutchley.
