Who is Giovanni Fabriciaco?
Giovanni Fabriciaco was a Venetian statesman and general of Byzantine origin. He served as magister militum of Venice in 742. Under him, the conflict between Heraclia and Equilio was resolved. The position of Doge was restored after his term, when Teodato Ipato, who had previously served as magister militum, was elected to the post.
