Who is Greg Martin?
Greg Martin is a Partner with Redpoint Ventures in Los Angeles,
focusing on information technology, communications and digital media
investments in Southern California. Prior to joining Redpoint, Greg was
an Associate with Brentwood Venture Capital, a firm he joined in 1999.Greg is a Director/Board Observerof the following Redpoint portfolio companies: Leadpoint, WebVisible,Networks-in-Motion, TelASIC Communications, SOASoftware,DevZuz, and Lead Technology Solutions.Prior
to joining Brentwood Venture Capital, Greg worked with an Angel
Investor focusing on early-stage Internet and telecommunications
investments. Previously, Greg was an Investment Banker with Donaldson
Lufkin and Jenrette's Technology Group in Menlo Park and before that
with Smith Barney in their International MA and Cross Border
Transactions Group. Greg has also owned and operated a high-end men's
clothing franchise in the Los Angeles area.Greg currently serves
on the Board of the LosAngeles Venture Association (LAVA) and is
anAdvisory Board member of the Tech Coast Angels and the San Diego
Venture Group.Greg receivedhis M.B.A. with High Honors from
the Anderson School of Business at UCLA where Greg was a Carter Scholar
and a Venture Fellow. Greg also holds a Bachelors of Commerce degree,
with a major in Information Systems and Accounting, from the University
of Calgary.
