Who is Jeff Ranieri?
Jeff Ranieri is a NBC Meteorologist, Jeff joined the NBC Weather Plus team in 2004 from KCRA-TV in Sacramento, CA. From snowstorms to hurricanes, Jeff has covered it all while working on both the east and the west coast.While at NBC, Jeff has traveled to cover many events for the network, including the landfall of Hurricane Katrina, The 2006 Winter Olympics in Torino & the Midwest summer floods of 2007' Currently, Jeff is the afternoon Meteorologist on MSNBC and NBC Weather Plus. He also contributes to both "Today", "Early Today" and "Weekend Today".Jeff graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor's degree in telecommunications, and studied meteorology at Mississippi State University. The American Meteorological Society has also presented him with the full seal of approval.Oh, as a kid, he dreamed of becoming as astronaut.After Weather Plus dissolved with NBC, Jeff Ranieri has merged with the new brand and is now a NBC Weather Channel Meteorologist.
