Who is Jeffrey M. Hurst?
Jeffrey M. Hurst is a General Partner and a Co-Founder of Commonwealth
Capital. Jeff has more than 20 years of venture capital and private
equity experience. He also has experience in the communications
infrastructure, information technology, and analytical systems
industries. Jeff has been or currently is a director of American
Internet Corp. (sold to Cisco), NBX (sold to 3Com), Neurometrix, The
MacGregor Group (sold to ITG), Crossbeam Systems, Visible Assets Inc.,
Swissray, and Seahorse Inc. Before co-founding Commonwealth, Jeff was a
senior vice president with GE Capital’s Corporate Finance Group, where
he led over $500 million in financing. Jeff earned an MBA from Tulane
University and a BA in History and Economics from Duke University. Jeff
is also a member of the Trinity College Board of Visitors of Duke
University.
