Who is Jen Kamerman (Jenkins)?

Jen Kamerman, now known as Jen Kamerman-Jenkins professionally, worked as an animation artist and director on the Simpsons from 1990-2002. She directed three episodes between 2000-2001, "Kill the Alligator and Run," "Tennis the Menace," and "Homer the Moe."She left the show in 2002 to get married and start a family. She has been married for nine years, and has a son that is now eight. She lives in New Orleans, Louisiana. She has been suffering from eating disorders for most of her life, and has been fighting bipolar disorder as well. She has been hospitalized for lengthy inpatient stays for her anorexia twice in the past three years, and she has written a memoir of the first twenty years of her life with eating disorders called "The Vanishing Point."
