Who is Jennifer Elster?

Jennifer Elster is a low-budget New York City filmmaker and former photo shoot stylist.

Elster's feature film debut was Particles of Truth, which she wrote, produced, directed and starred in. The film premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and made the festival rounds in IFP/LA, Woodstock, Fort Lauderdale, Santa Barbara and won the Jury Award for best feature at the Austin Film Festival and HD Fest. Particles of Truth made its theatrical debut in New York City[did it play elsewhere?Feb.2010] and played on the cable television Sundance Channel in a series entitled New Voices.

Elster produced and directed commercials as Fingered and Head in the Sidewalk for MTV2. Prior to filmmaking, Elster styled and conceptualized high-profile photo shoots and/or videos for such artitsts as Bowie, NIN, Moby, Fiona Apple, Gwyneth Paltrow, Isabella Rosselini and Liv Tyler amongst many others and for such magazines as Dazed & Confused, Time, Rolling Stone and The Face.
