Who is Jennifer Rankine?
Jennifer Mary Rankine is a South Australian politician, the sitting Labor member for the State electoral district of Wright, first won in 1997. She is the Minister for Education and Child Development.
The 2006 election saw Rankine increase her margin to 15.3 percent.
As of the 2014 election, Rankine holds Wright with a margin of 3.0 percent.
Prior to entering parliament, Rankine was an Australian Services Union workplace delegate for MP staffers.
Rankine is from the Labor Left faction.
